Small city cottage auckland new zealand

A small urban cottage gets a stylish uplift. The owner and her daughter loved the original architecture of the house but wanted to update finishes, bring stylish elements with texture and color. Modern meets antique makes to the cover of New Zealand House and garden in 2021.

Auckland villa, new zealand

Classic Auckland 1920 villa is transformed into a modern urban family home. The house is added at the back with kitchen being re-configured and enlarged,. two bedrooms are added on the second floor, pool is renovated and a pool house is added. Lastly a one bedroom guest apartment is added over the garage. Inside the house major renovation included updating floors, windows, electrics and plumbing. Everything was re-decorated using Olga’s signature eclectic style.
